WEBSITE POLICIES
1. Payment methods we accept:
Money orders, cashiers checks or Paypal only. NO personal checks.
2. Money orders must be completely filled out and signed by the customer. Too many customers are sending us blank money orders. Anyone could cash them.
3. PLEASE NOTE: In order to keep our costs low, we do not have online secure shopping carts. Once an order is placed with us we will send you a Paypal invoice for payment or our address if you prefer to send a money order or cashiers check. This also allows us to work directly with our customers to assure
you are getting the right item/items for your needs.
4.When you send us an email with an order, we will need ALL of the following to process your order, we can not process it without this:
1. Style/type
2. Color
3. Lining choice if a coat or blanket
4. Quantity
5. Any extras you may want on a blanket/sheet, such as open fronts/leg straps/bellybands.
6. Your ZIP CODE or POSTAL CODE. We can not get a s/h cost without it.
7. Your Paypal email if you are planning on using Paypal to pay for your order. We need this so we can send you an invoice.
5. BE sure the Paypal invoice is correct before you pay it. If anything needs to be changed, let us know before you pay so we can edit the invoice. If a customer pays the invoice, then emails us that they want a different size or something else added than is not on the invoice, there is a $5 re-processing charge. We will have to refund your payment, then resend you a NEW invoice for payment.
6. If you use Paypal to pay for your order, your ship to address MUST be correct.
We print out our USPS and UPS labels directly from your Paypal payment and whatever address you have on there is where your order will be sent. No exceptions. It is the buyer's responsibility to have their address correct on their Paypal payment and if not correct and we send to an incorrect address, the buyer will incur any expenses that Custom Pet & Tack is charged on sending the item back to us PLUS s/h cost to resend to the customer's correct address. If you send us a payment and your shipping address on Paypal is incorrect and we have to refund and resend the invoice for you to make the correction, there will be a $5 reprocessing charge.
7. We can not edit/modify your address to a different address than specified, no exceptions. So PLEASE be sure it is correct before you send us your payment.
8. If you want your order sent to a different address than is on Paypal payment, you MUST edit this before completing the payment to us.
9. Sorry for any inconvenience but for us to qualify for Paypal's seller protection policy we have to mail to whatever address is on your payment.
10. Once we have your order and if you are using Paypal, we will send you a Paypal invoice. Please be sure and let us know all the items you want to order before we send you the invoice. This way, we ONLY have to do "ONE" invoice and not have to cancel the 1st invoice and then resend you another one. Once an invoice is sent and it is paid for we can not add additional items to it, we will have to send you a new invoice for the other items with s/h and items will be mailed in separate boxes. This takes up valuable time canceling invoices and redoing them several times a day. Invoices MUST be paid within 5 business days. if not paid they will be canceled. $5 reprocessing fee to send another one.
11. Items are NOT kept in stock (except for a few on our specials page). Items are manufactured after an order has been placed and we have received your payment.
12. Since all orders are done to each customer's specifications all sales are final.
Please be sure of the size needed before you order/pay. Directions for measuring your horse/goat are on our homepage. Directions on measuring your dog is on the "Dog Coat" page.
13. We use UPS or USPS to mail/ship out orders, which ever is most cost effective for the customer. We do not use FedEx or DHL, we do not have an account with them.
15. Before ordering please measure your horse/goat/dog. We do not guess at what size a customer may need for their horse, goat or dog based on type/height/weight nor do we know what size blanket/coat a foal or kid would need that isn't born yet.
16. We are not responsible for damage to blankets/sheets/coats/pads/etc. caused by a horse/goat/dog/pasture/barn etc. This is beyond our control.
17. We try and get most orders mailed out within 5 business days. Large orders (5 or more of any item) will take longer, up to 10 business days.
18. Once an item is mailed we will either notify you via email if you have mailed us your payment or Paypal will send you an email confirming your order has been mailed.
